the basics: WHIPPED CREAM


2  cups heavy whipping cream
1/2  cup powdered sugar
1  teaspoon pure vanilla 
(Mexican Vanilla is always preferred)

- Mix with a mixer stand or with a hand mixer until very thick.

- Start either stand or hand mixer on low and slowly bring up to a medium high setting. 

- Make ahead of time and refrigerate until serving.
